First-ever international Omega-3 Awareness Day

October 07, 2015

A recent JAMA article found that increased Omega-3 protects and provides for increased longevity with a 5-year life span increase in a group of people with heart disease. Those with higher omega-3 levels had the slowest rate of shortening of the DNA telomeres. ???We have a powerful molecule that is a foundation element of our health,??? Locke states.

The Millennium generation is the first ever to be predicted to have a shorter life span than the preceding generation. Locke states, ???This has to change, we have to turn this around to save this generation because this generation has to save the world.???

???We are honored to launch the first International Omega-3 Day March 3rd at the University of California, Irvine from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. PST. We have an exciting program, and what is really thrilling is that we have the Millennial Generation excited and passionate about it. We will have great expert speakers, comedian Kyle Cease, five rock bands and a lot of attention by this young savvy generation. It??ôs a dream of mine to expose this new generation to Omega-3s. Information is power!??? says founder Dr. Locke. The Omega-3 Day, Dr. Locke, her founding team of doctors and these passionate students have set out to change lives, save lives and change the world.
